Société Internationale des Moteurs Baudouin is a company devoted to the design, the manufacturing and the distribution of marine diesel engines and complete propulsion packages and genset. With a workforce of 184 employees, the company achieves total sales amounting to 29.9 M€, whose 70 % made on export markets and especially:
- Mediterranean basin: Algeria, Spain, Greece, Italia, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia and Turquey,
- Africa: all along the Atlantic coast, from Senegal up to South Africa and Indian Ocean,

SIMB: a global marine supplier
Mainly involved in the Marine business which represents more than 90 % of its activities, Moteurs Baudouin is currently developing and offering its customers 3 ranges of marine diesel engines:
- 136-331 kW: "W range"
- 331-425 kW: "M19.3 range" (common rail)
- 331-883 KW:"M26 range".
Together with the engines, Moteurs Baudouin is also in a position to provide its customers with "complete propulsion packages" including besides the engines:
- gearboxes,
- Shafting systems (lub. oil, raw water and controllable pitch propeller systems)
- Fixed blades or controllable pitch propeller
- Inboard or Industrial Gensets (up to 900 kVA)
Baudouin products have established a strong reputation all along the years for their efficiency, their reliability and their low level of operating and maintenance costs, their durability thanks to:
- One century experience in heavy duty marine applications,
- A highly efficient computerised machining proceedings.
This makes of each Baudouin product a real "profitable & long lasting asset". Thousands of shipping companies, fitterout and private owners as well as civilian and military administrations are daily operating Baudouin engines and complete propulsion systems products worldwide.
For propulsion, Baudouin products equip any type of vessels: fishing vessels (deep seatrawlers, long liners, netters, pelagic trawlers, potters, shrimpers), tug boat, pushers, river barges, river boats, cargos, passenger ferries, pilot and service boats, work boats, high speed crafts for civilian and military administrations.
In auxiliary, on board auxiliaries and on board gensets are complementary to Baudouin complete propulsion systems.

Through its long experience of navies specific requirements, Moteurs Baudouin has established its name among the French and several foreign navies. More than 500 Baudouin engines and propulsion packages are operated by the French navy. Foreign navies are also operating Baudouin products, as main as propulsion or auxiliaries units: the Algerian navy, the Bangladesh navy, the Indonesian navy, the Morocco navy and the Spanish navy.

For more than 20 years, Moteurs Baudouin has developed specific compact and high performance diesel engines from 200 to 750 hp for military vehicles and armoured tanks).
